The mission of the Marin City Historical & Preservation Society (MCHPS) is to actively acquire, safeguard, and conserve the rich cultural history and heritage of Marin City. MCHPS is achieving this mission through various activities such as documentation, acquiring artifacts, collecting oral histories, and archiving historical information to be enjoyed by audiences spanning all age groups. Through these actions, the MCHPS aims to ensure that future generations learn and appreciate the profound legacy of the community.
